After an extremely busy holiday season, everything concluded in a very enjoyable Christmas Day. Obviously, we still have the New Year to look forward to, but in terms of the holiday season, I always feel like it ends once Christmas is over (since New Year’s is really all about celebrating and having as much fun as possible).

Like just about every Christmas, my family and I celebrated this year down in Dallas. The reason that we celebrate Christmas in Dallas is because that is the place that my parents call home, so all of “us kids” and other family members go down there to celebrate Christmas at their beautiful home.

Since my wife, kids and I always fly down to Dallas, once we get there, we are always sure to pickup a rental car. Because we follow the same travel routine every year, I have actually started to make my rental car reservation online before our trip begins. I have found that by doing this in advance, it saves us from any potential headaches or problems when we actually arrive in Dallas.
