Since it is exactly one month away, the countdown until my nineteenth birthday has officially begun. Even though it does mean that I am getting a year older, that doesn’t mean that I don’t enjoy this special day each year. I have always felt that you should enjoy your birthday because it is the time each year when the people closest to you make sure you feel special for the day. Like I have done on several of my other birthdays, I have planned a dinner at my favorite restaurant and invited all of the people that I want to be there.
In addition to having my birthday party with my friends and family, I decided that I wanted to do something extra this year. Earlier this year, I realized that it would be a lot of fun to take a trip to Dallas during my birthday week. This will be my third time to visit Dallas, but even though I have already been there twice, I know that I will get a chance to have some new experiences. I do not like traveling alone (it’s just not as much fun), so my friend and I are going to have a blast during our trip together. Even though I was expecting to pay quite a bit for this trip, I ended up saving a lot of money on the reservations. It turned out that the reservation that saved me the largest amount of money was the Dallas car rental. Although I thought it might be difficult to get a really good deal, the Internet made it surprisingly easy to save the most money possible on the Dallas car rental I reserved. Now that all of the reservations for the trip are made and my birthday keeps getting closer, I am really excited to leave for my trip!
