If you are looking for something to do in Dallas at night and want to stay low key or have family members with you and want a family atmosphere than there are three places that you may enjoy. There is Frankie’s Sports Bar and Grill, the Deep Ellum neighborhood, and Ad-Libs Improv Comedy Club.
Frankie’s Sports Bar and Grill is both a bar and club. Located at 3227 McKinney, the nice thing about this establishment is that in addition to a bar it has a restaurant which gives it a real family atmosphere. You can take your children with you for a night out and not worry about them seeing unseemly things. It feels like a neighborhood bar here as they are very friendly and they show all the games that are playing. At Frankie’s you’ll be treated like a regular customer even the first time that you are there.
The Deep Ellum is actually the name of a neighborhood and not a specific establishment. It used to be a bustling nightclub spot but zoning changes has changed the atmosphere there. It is now a quiet area with neighborhood bars and nice boutiques. If you’re looking for a quiet night out then this is your spot. During the day they have good places for lunch and unique stores for shopping.
If you are in the mood for a night full of laughs, check out Ad-Libs Improv Comedy Club. Located at 2626 Main Street, this comedy club offers one of a kind acts every Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 & 10:00.
